Bossa Nova Guitar Lesson #24: Third Basic Phrase Variation Fully Syncopated

This video shows the third basic bossa nova fully syncopated phrase (4313).It is played the same way as 4213 phrase (as in Este Seu Olhar lesson) with the addition of the chord played on the last beat of the first measure. in this example the additional beat is played as a ghost note, same as in Outra Vez lesson.

The song is mainly played with legato, while the phrase featured in this lesson (4313) is played with staccato.

The last chord is played as a fast arpeggio. The last (highest) note of the chord is played on the beat (1st beat of 2nd measure), the same way arpeggio chords are played in Triste lesson.
