If there was ever a time for Bochum to be catching Leipzig that time is now as Leipzig enters this game off of a compromising 7-0 loss to Man City in the Champions League. While this is regarded by many as the best team in the world it’s still a devastating blow after being extremely competitive at home in the 1st leg. Leipzig will need to flush that quickly as they are currently in a three-way tie for two Champions league positions for next year with Union Berlin and Freiburg. It doesn’t help matters that they’ve only been successful in winning four of twelve away matches this season. Bochum after getting shutout in four straight games surprised everyone going away to Koln and recording a shutout victory bringing them out of the bottom three. They will look to get a positive result out of this match as they have done so in six of eleven home games so far this season.
