Joanna and Chip Gaines are being fined over their handling of lead paint on their hit home renovation show. The EPA found 33 houses were renovated by the ‘Fixer Upper’ stars “without adequate lead paint protections.” As a result, the agency fined the Gaines’ company, Magnolia Homes, $40,000. Magnolia Homes says it will also spend $160,000 on lead paint treatment in high-risk homes in their community. Lead paint is a serious issue, and pregnant women in particular are advised to avoid exposure. #InsideEdition
