Share this article Share 11 shares Roma also took to social media to declare: 'AS Roma can confirm that the club has reached an agreement with FC Girondins de Bordeaux for the transfer of Malcom, subject to the player completing a medical and agreeing personal terms.'Roma first opened talks late last week, with the club's transfer coffers having been significantly boosted by the £65m exit of goalkeeper Alisson to Liverpool.Malcom has established a reputation as one of the most exciting young attacking talents in Europe since joining Bordeaux from Corinthians in 2016, scoring 23 goals and providing 16 assists in 96 total appearances across all competitions.Last season, he notched 12 times as the French outfit recovered from a difficult run of form that led to the departure of manager Jocelyn Gourvennec to record a sixth-place finish in Ligue 1 under Gus Poyet.The 21-year-old found himself at the centre of near-constant transfer speculation and was initially said to be valued by his current employers at around the £40m mark.
