Watch the top 5 best new cruise ships coming out in 2021!

After a chaotic 2020, with widespread cancellations due to the ongoing pandemic, the cruising industry is continuing to prepare for next year! 2021 will be a crucial comeback year for most cruise lines. A record 14 different cruise lines plan to launch nearly 20 brand new cruise ships, including:

Royal Caribbean with a new Oasis-Class ship, the Wonder of the Seas (the largest cruise ship in the world in 2021), a sister ship to the Oasis, Harmony, and Symphony of the Seas, and a new Quantum-Class ship, the Odyssey of the Seas, a sister ship to the Quantum, Anthem, and Ovation of the Seas.

Celebrity Cruises will add two new Edge-Class ships in 2021 (Celebrity Apex and Celebrity Beyond).

Carnival Cruise Line has delayed the maiden voyage of its brand-new and very exciting Carnival Mardi Gras cruise ship from Fall 2020 to Spring 2021. The Mardi Gras will also have the first Roller Coaster at Sea!

Richard Branson's Cruise line, the adults-only Virgin Voyages, will debut in 2021 with both the Scarlet Lady and the Valiant Lady. The 2021 cruising market is eager to see how an adults-only cruise line will perform.

Princess Cruises will present the Discovery Princess, a sister ship to the Royal Princess, Regal Princess, and Majestic Princess.

Holland America Line will also expand its fleet with the Ryndam, a sister ship to the Koeningsdam and Nieuw Amsterdam.

The German Aida cruise line will launch the AIDA Cosma, a sister ship to the Aida Nova, and so will Costa Cruises with the Costa Toscana (Costa Smeralda sister ship). Together with the P&O Iona, those ships will become the largest cruise ships in the world by passenger capacity (6,600 passengers!).

Disney Cruise Line will inaugurate its long-awaited new ship, the Disney Wish, in December 2021. This will be its first new cruise ship since it launched the Disney Fantasy in 2012.

Another cruise line with an impressive new ship next year is MSC Cruises with the Seaside Plus Class's MSC Seashore (sister ship to the MSC Seaside and MSC Seaview). They will also launch the MSC Virtuosa, from Meravigla-Class.
