Our guest today is Pasifika trailblazer Luamanuvao Dame Winnie Laban. Luamanuvao made history in 1999 when she became the first female Pasifika MP, in 2018 she was appointed a Dame for her services to education and the Pacific community, and for the last decade she has worked as assistant vice-chancellor (Pasifika) at Victoria University of Wellington.
