Today's video is about how to make Shrikhand? (Kesar Pista Shrikhand Recipe). Here is the easiest and best way to make yummy shrikhand out of everyday curd. Shrikhand recipe is a sweet dish made using hung curd and powdered sugar and is usually served with puri. To make shrikhand, yogurt is hung in a muslin cloth till it loses most of its water and becomes thick. This thick yogurt is called Chakka. Shrikhand sweet is very popular in Maharashtra and Gujrat as a dessert or side dish that is savored with joy.

Ingredients for Shrikhand
1.Hung Curd from Ltr Milk
2.Half cup Powdered Sugar
3.Chopped Pistachio and Kesar

Method of Shrikhand / Procedure of Shrikhand
1.To make shrikhand, hang the curds in a muslin cloth in a cool place for appx 4-5 hours until all liquid or whey has drained off.
2.Stir well till it becomes soft.
3.Add powdered sugar and mix well.
4.Rub the saffron into warm milk until it dissolves.
5.Add Pistachio and saffron mixture to the bowl and mix well.
6.Serve the Kesar pista shrikhand garnished with pistachio and Kesar.
