This episode covers my journey from Juda Ka Talaab to Base Camp to Summit.

Juda Ka Talaab has an interesting legend & how the name of the place was coined.
After spending sometime at Talaab, we continue our trek to base camp. The inclination at
someplaces is at 80 degrees, giving us a glimpse into how our trek to summit would be.
Wearing all the available layers, we start for our Summit push at 3:00 AM on the LAST DAY of 2021!

To make this trek a memorable experience, ensure you have the right trekking gear. Based on my experience, I have listed the gear below

Snow jacket - Available at 1250 same as I wore
Water proof trek pants
2 Quick dry shirt
1 Fleece jacket
Thermals - highly recommended from Decathlon
Comfortable ruck sack, with good back support
Warm socks & water proof trek shoes
Fleece based balaclava
Fleece based cap
Head lamp - not recommended from decathlon buy cell operated
Insulated water bottle - at least 1 lt per person
Trek pole - Minimum 1
Torch for tents
Gloves - highly recommended to rent from Sankri Trekking gear shop in the market. preferably from Black Diamond brand
Sunglasses color tinted to avoid snow blindness

Do ensure you have good trek gear to keep yourself warm, which will work for -15 degrees to -20 degrees.

P.S. - confirm with your trekking company on the availability of sleeping bag, micro spikes & goiters.
