The Ultimate Minecraft Building Guide!
Find you style and become the best!

If you want to become the best at something, you need to do your research.

First you got to figure out what style build you would like to build.
Here are some examples

Medieval
Rustic
Victorian
Gothic
Tudor
Fantasy
Nordic
Dwarven
Survival
Modern - city’s skyscrapers,houses,
Steampunk
Haunted/spooky

Where do I start
Pick one and try it, you can try loads until you find the perfect one for you

What I like to do is make a YouTube music playlist to play while I build, if I’m building modern, I will listen to modern lounge chilout, medieval I listen to medieval or fantasy style music, helps you get in the mood and gets you more focused and involved in what you’re build. Minecraft is not just building, it’s an experience to build and live in your own world, to create things you have never seen before, to become part of a story you have created.

Best thing to do is pick a style, we will use medieval for an example. If you have no clue how medieval houses look, then go on google and search medieval house, maybe you only like a part of a house you see, that’s good, take that part and take a picture of it, keep searching for other parts of builds you like. Maybe a build had a really good roof design and another had a great porch and another with a cool balcony. Take all this inspiration and use it to make your own build.

So you got all the research done and you have some great samples of different builds in the same style, bows the time to lay down your foundation.
When looking at the parts of the builds you want to build, try focus on how many block wide and long to create that look. If you have a fancy window from an example you have and you only want it to be 5 long, that’s just not gonna work, so you make it bigger or simply the design till it still has enough detail to look similar.
Practice doing this before you start the house.

Now you have a rough idea of how many blocks it will take to make it, you can lay your floor plan.
Working with odd numbers works better as it allows you to create better roofs.

Now you got to find materials in Minecraft that blend together well, can always find examples online.

When starting to build your house, you want to get your frame work down first, this paints the picture for the whole build and it’s very important, don’t be afraid to make mistakes tho, sometimes mistakes can be some of your best builds ever, never give up. Ask my mum, I’m a pretty cool mistake *cry*

When you have your gram down you can start on the lower floors or even the roof, don’t be afraid to even start on one side of the building and try get it perfect, no right or wrong way...go with the flow, enjoy the process, take your time, listen to your music. Don’t be afraidto remove parts you don’t like or adapt your builds or add or take away detail :)

Minecraft is not just a game, it’s a creative outlet that will entertain you, Challenge you and make you become a more creative thinker.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, it was built over time.

If you still feel you need help, I do block for block tutorials on this channel, from basic to advanced. Take a look on my channel and you will find loads of cool builds, I will put them down in the description for you.

Hope I helped at least one person, comment your favourite style to build in and why you like it.
