Serpil Uluturk is one of the founders of Seti Media, which is a gaming media hub and know-how center. She has also been working as the editor-in-chief of Oyungezer magazine since its first publication, in November 2007. While studying at ITU School of Architecture, she started her career as an enthusiastic writer, printing copies and distributing her and her friends' fanzines before moving into professional life. After spending two years as a freelance translator, copyeditor and video games critic at PC Gamer Turkey, she worked as an editor at Level magazine where she had a column on "life as a game" which inspired her own magazine's name, Oyungezer. She is still writing, editing, talking, sharing, and dreaming about games, mostly on her recent column, Rüya Tamirleri.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations) |
