Vathia Spilia beach is located near Milina, in the Pagasitikos bay, on the peninsula Pelion, Greece. Some basic directions to find the beach can be found in this video. The beach is easy to find, you just need to turn right behind the sign as it is explained in the video.

The beach does not have modern facilities such as sun-umbrellas and sunbeds, but it has the most beautiful nature, beach and the see. It's sorrounded with rocks, and the first two meters of the bottom of the sea are rocky. But, there are paths in the sea, cleared from rocks and pebbles, so you can pass there into the sandy part of the sea.

The water is crystal clear, warm and calm. It has special color, green like the mountain lakes.
The beach is filled with coarse sand and pebbles. Behind the beach, there is a plot with olive trees and a natural shade, perfect to park your car, place the tent and enjoy your staying on the beach.

On the left side of the beach there are rocks where you can sunbath, jump into the sea or explore swimming among rocky foundations.

In the immediate vicinity of the beach, in the opposite direction from the beach, there is the Cave Centaur Chiron. We weren't there, but looking to the pictures from the internet, it looks interesting.

This beach is my favorite one among all visited beaches.

Few kilometers before this beach, near the village Argalasti, you may visit the old monastery of St. Nicholas of Paou, founded in the early 18th century. Today, in this premises operates the University of Thessaly Conference and Cultural Center. It operates all year round. Our tour of this complex you may find on 2:22 minutes in this video.
