President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has given a defiant message as he refused an offer of evacuation and remains on the streets of Kyiv.

Denouncing disinformation that he had fled the Ukrainian capital, its president said: "I am here. We will not lay down any weapons. We will defend our state, because our weapons are our truth.”
