The snare drum sound is an important part of not only the drum mix audio, but the entire mix of the band. Whether in live sound reinforcement, or in the studio, you want a solid snare drum sound to keep your rhythm section dialed in and tight. These mixing tips and tricks, as well general concepts, should help you build your own mixes quickly and efficiently.

Example shown using X-Air PC Edit but same principles apply for iPad and Android Apps as well as on the surface of the Behringer X32 and Midas M32.
These concepts apply to any mixer, and not just limited to the Behringer platform. Your audio control surface might look different, but EQ is still EQ.

The concepts in this video apply to any console (Yamaha, Soundcraft, Allen-Heath, Avid, Midas, Digico, etc.) , also software audio plugins, and not just the Behringer digital platforms, but the GUI shown is the Behringer PC Edit software. What is heard in the video is the snare audio, into the Behringer, recorded into Reaper DAW.

Examples shown are useful for live or recording. Stage or studio. Clubs, auditoriums, church audio, concerts, etc..
