The development was a tough road for them, and they spent two years on the project costing $10,000 of their savings like equipment, food and rent. resulting in them using coffee houses with Wi-Fi hotspots. Then after working on the title at local Wi-Fi hotspots at coffee houses, it was finally released on PC and WiiWare on October 13th 2008 in North America, and in the UK on December 12th, which received great reviews and several independent awards for its creative gameplay including best puzzle game, and best game no one played. Now after 24 years of mobile and switch ports, 2D Boy is finally making a sequel with Tomorrow Cooperation. |
