On Oct. 25th, Jeff received the "Private Sector Servant of Justice" award from the coalition group, "It Can Happen To You" for Jeff's role in helping to pass the landmark legislation creating the countries first Commission on Prosecutorial Conduct. Jeff was the group's liason to the exoneree community, encouraging them to: participate in speaking engagements; media interviews; press conferences; meeting with elected officials; testifying at legislative hearings; signing sign on letters; and coming to ITCHY events. Jeff also met with many elected officials, spoke at many speaking engagements, gave media interviews, and was an advisory board member of the group, helping to strategize, and making introductions to other groups.
