President Donald Trump is directing the federal government to overhaul its hiring to prioritize a job applicant’s skills over a college degree.

"Before the plague struck, we had the lowest African American and Hispanic American, Asian American unemployment ever," Trump said Friday, as he signed an executive order directing the federal government to replace degree-based hiring with skill-based hiring practices.
