To install and update WSL 2 on Windows, follow these steps:

Check Windows Version:
Ensure you have Windows 10 version 1903 (OS Build 18362) or later. WSL 2 requires this version or higher.

Copy this one by one to the command line:
wsl --install -d ubuntu

wsl --update

wsl --set-default-version 2
