What a cool prop! Let me tell you. I spent much of the day yesterday shooting videos of the new for Halloween 2014 Distortions Unlimited Death Rising. Here are my impressions:

It looks great. Very spooky. Light in color which at first might not seem scary enough to the novice but trust me being a home haunter of 25+ years dark objects do not show up at night. This prop is just begging for some LED lighting. Another great thing is he's relatively low to the ground. Trick or treaters look down mostly, never up.

The motor is dead quiet and strong. His base is welded metal not some lightweight plastic. This is a solid piece with some heft.

The acid test? I call my dog over to investigate him. She freaks out! I'll be posting videos of that later on. I had him coming out of the straw but just imagine in the fall he'll be coming out of the leaves.

Comes with a DVD disc. Just a 1 minute or so loop but you can add anything to go along with this prop on Halloween night including movie sound tracks and Halloween records! Many people post old Halloween records on youtube. So don't limit yourself. This is a heavy duty prop. While the supplied audio clip is useful it's not the end of the line. It's okay to experiment. I said so.
