WSL 1 has been around for a while giving you the ability to run Linux subsystems right inside of Windows 10 for a while. A handy tool for sure! Just recently Microsoft has updated this feature to version 2.0.
Now in WSL 2 you can actually run a complete Linux Kernel right alongside of Windows 10.
