France 3 is a network of regional channels across France, similar to how BBC One and ITV work in the UK. However there are some platforms where it isn't possible to show a regional feed, so there is a network feed with a news bulletin similar to the former UK Today which used to be shown on BBC1 on Freeview before regionalisation of DTT.

Edition des Regions is a bulletin shown on France 3 before the national bulletin, showcasing news stories from across France 3's regional news network. Previously this bulletin was presented with an out of vision voiceover, it now has a studio and presenter.
