How to Play & Engage Your Baby in Activities to Develop Cognitive, Language, Motor, & Sensory Skills

video thumbnail
In this video, you'll learn how to engage your newborn in stimulating play and age-appropriate activities that are not only easy to do, but require no materials or equipment! These are perfect to incorporate naturally into the daily routine of your infant's awake/alert time, and will help your little one develop his or her cognitive, language, sensory, and motor skills! These include improving baby's body awareness, strength, coordination, vision, and perception of the environment and surroundings. Help grow your baby's brain!

For reference, my baby Lena Rose is 3.5 weeks old in this video. These specific activities are targeted for 0-3 month old babies, though many of them continue to be great developmental and bonding opportunities for older babies as well.
