This book is intended to help learners studying Levantine Lebanese spoken/colloquial Arabic dialect as a second language. The light-hearted story draws from carefully selected important high-frequency common vocabulary and syntactic patterns suitable for learners at intermediate level.
Learning is also re-enforced by the supplementary English translation, and various grammar and comprehension activities, in the second part of the book.

-Book layout:
-First part of the book is the short story, written in colloquial spoken Lebanese Arabic. Each paragraph is followed by English translation. *The translation is more on the literal side, to help you understand the meaning of each word.
-The second part of the book has various activities for you to complete, such as comprehension questions, fill in the blanks, matching, conjugation tables, writing, etc.
-The last part has all the answers.

The story is about Ghada and Salim, who are Lebanese students in a British university. The teacher requested them to prepare a presentation for their fellow students, introducing a dish from their mother land. Salim has a secrete crush on Ghada, and the project is a chance for him to get to know her better, until the unexpected happens. Find out more and whether this admiration will develop into a relationship, in this short and lighthearted story. Also, learn at the same time lots of useful adjectives, adverbs, linking words, common verbs, and everyday expressions, as well as a brief insight about the Lebanese cuisine.
