Can't send a message on TikTok? There are a few settings that have to be enabled before you can text people or send messages on TikTok using the TikTok app.

There are privacy settings on TikTok that need to be changed before you can receive or send messages.

You can change your privacy settings in the privacy settings menu on any TikTok profile.

Once you are set to receive messages, you'll see messages in your inbox. But if the person you want to send messages to doesn't have this turned on, you can't message them.
