https://sc.mp/subscribe-youtube China has been hit by a fresh outbreak of Covid-19, this time in the southeastern province of Fujian. A total of 22 locally-transmitted cases plus 13 asymptomatic cases were reported on September 13, 2021. China does not include asymptomatic patients as confirmed cases. The current outbreak is mainly concentrated in the city of Putian. Local authorities said initial gene sequencing results showed the infection was caused by the Delta variant, imported by an adult patient who returned from Singapore on August 4.
