Quinnipiac University, along with the Interactive Media Program, recently hosted another Social Media Breakfast at the School of Communications on the Mt. Carmel campus on Friday, October 19, 2012. The discussion, moderated by Quinnipiac University's Director of the Graduate Program in Journalism Rich Hanley, was focused around social media and politics. Panelists Gary Holder-Winfield, State Representative for the 94th District in New Haven and Torrington Mayor Ryan Bingham joined the conversation to share their stories about how social media has influenced their work as civil servants. Also, joining the discussion via Google+ Hangout was veteran news producer Sara Just, who is the Senior Washington Editor for ABC News Digital.
