The Behindwoods Gold Summit 2014, was held at the ITC Grand Chola on the 15th of June 2014. The event aimed at honouring the best performers of 2013 in various fields by awarding them with a Gold Medal for their contribution to the industry.

This initiative was taken by team Behindwoods, as we have completed 10 successful years, and the event is simply our way of thanking the industry for the tremendous support rendered by them.

Behindwoods Gold Performers were selected based on indepth analysis by Behindwoods Review Board, inputs from various respected technicians of the industry and through public opinion.

Suresh Kumar Nalluswamy rechristened as Suseenthiran, the Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu fame director, made it a family event. Accompanied by his wife and his cute son, he was having a tough, fun time restricting his son to his lap. The Palani born critically acclaimed director fresh from the success of Pandianadu, was awarded the Best Direction medal for Aadhalal Kaadhal Seiveer (AKS) and Vishal starring Pandianadu in the Behindwoods Gold Summit 2014. He was glad to receive the honor from T. Shiva of Amma Creations.
