The brief was to design an electric mid-size sedan for Infiniti for the year 2025. Finding differentiating factors that emphasise the electric drivetrain while avoiding the stereotypes of EVs was of utmost importance, Relatively clean surfacing and bold architecture subtly hint at at powertrain while remaining driver focused.

Infiniti Q50 EV is an exploration into expression of electric powertrains and efficient use of the flexibility of an electric skateboard chassis. An illusion of a normal a pillar while having the cabin forward and parametric blend between the bonnet and windshield suggest a non ICE vehicle while avoiding stereotypes of electric vehicles.
