Cipher is a foster kid turned independent hip-hop and R&B artist born in Monterey, CA, raised outside of Dallas, TX, and currently resides in Denver, CO. Cipher has served in the Navy, traveled the world, started several businesses, and is passionate about music.

Cipher began his music journey by learning how to play drums at 14. Thanks Mom! Then he learned guitar, and finally started recording vocals. He recorded his first song in 2006 on XBox headphones. Cipher writes his songs, records his music, and scripts his videos.
