Hazrat Abdullah ibn Basr (may Allah be pleased with him) says that (once) a villager came to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and asked, "O Messenger of Allah, who is the best person?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Blessed is he who has a long life and whose deeds are good. He said: O Messenger of Allah! Which process is better? He said that when you are separated from the world, your tongue is wet with the remembrance of Allah. (Tirmidhi, Ahmad)
Description: Just as the dryness of the tongue is a metaphor for stopping the tongue, so the wetness of the tongue is a metaphor for the fluency of the tongue, or the wetness of the tongue here is a metaphor for the persistence of remembrance till death, as the remembrance of Allah. The tongue could not be dried to kill. The dhikr mentioned in the hadith also means dhikr jali and dhikr khafi. There are two possibilities for language. It can also mean heart and language. That is, whether he mentions it with the tongue of the heart or with the tongue, but it is very good if it is from both. Hazrat Ibn Abbas (RA) narrates that the Prophet (SAW) said: The devil clings to the heart of man. When he remembers Allah with his heart, the devil retreats, and when he neglects the remembrance of Allah, the devil keeps whispering in his heart. #hadith #shaitan Shaitan os k Dil me Waswase dalta Rehta Hai | Shaitan | Hadees | Islamic Urdu PAKISTAN Note : Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for"fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
