PRIVIEW: Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians will square off against each other in the qualifier 2 of the ongoing Indian Premier League on Friday at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Mumbai Indians defeated Lucknow Super Giants in the eliminator to move to the qualifier 2 of the league while Gujarat Titans are coming off a defeat against Chennai Super Kings in the qualifier 1. The winner in this match will make it to the final to face Chennai Super Kings.

In terms of performances both teams have a solid set of players but Gujarat Titans’ last defeat against Chennai Super Kings was huge. Gujarat Titans had failed to make their mark as their top-order batters didn’t get going. Shubman Gill has been the only player with consistency for GT. Their bowling is fine with the likes of Mohammad Shami, Noor Ahmad and Rashid Khan but seeing Mumbai Indians’ rise recently it will be a big challenge for GT.
