Although Conor McGregor achieved a feat at UFC 205 that no other UFC fighter has ever attained, the brash Irishman wasn't surprised. He said long ago that he was going to win two belts in two weight classes simultaneously, it was merely a matter of time.

He's certainly proud of his accomplishment and reveled in it, but it was all according to plan.

What did blow McGregor away was his time in New York City. The energy of the city was something that caught him off guard.
