India Refuses to Support UN Resolution on Israel Gaza War

Did India do the right thing by not voting for the ceasefire resolution between Hamas and Israel in the UN? Recently, voting took place in the UN regarding the Israel and Gaza war in which a demand was made to immediately stop the continuous bombing by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip. 120 countries including all Muslim countries voted in support of this resolution, while 14 countries including Israel and America voted against this resolution. There were also 45 countries which did not participate in this voting, which included India.

Apart from India, the countries that abstained from voting included Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, Ukraine and the UK. The surprising thing about this resolution is that the one who started this war, i.e. Hamas, was not even condemned in it, due to which India kept distance from it.
