The Mandalorian Season 3 NEWS | The Real Reason for Luke's Decline to be Explained?, Kenobi & More! |

The Mandalorian Season 2 is over and the Book of Boba Fett drops December 2021 on Disney+ with the Mandalorian Season 3 coming out in 2022, according to Lucasfilm, Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau.
In this Star Wars news update, we talk about the Mandalorian Season 3 and how Luke Skywalker's decline and eventual exile might be explained in Season 3 of the live-action, Star Wars and Lucasfilm show. His forgotten love interest, Mary (from Star Wars comics #89 in 1984) died in his arms when the Empire came for Luke and Luke's New Jedi Order. Could she or Mara Jade become canon in the Mandalorian and could his loss and devastation add to his sadness that leads him to exile himself as we saw in the Last Jedi and the Sequel Trilogy in general? There is some convincing evidence for this - Grand Admiral Thrawn is becoming live-action and more characters from the Thrawn Trilogy could come into play either in the Ahsoka Tano spin-off series (where Rosario Dawson will be back) or in the Mandalorian Season 3, The Book of Boba Fett or Rangers of the New Republic! We also talk about the Obi-Wan Kenobi series and how Ewan McGregor has given new details of how the show will be more similar to the Mandalorian than George Lucas' Prequels. The show is set to feature Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader, Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon Jinn and maybe even Ian McDiarmid as Emperor Palpatine/ Darth Sidious. Din Djarin (Mando - Pedro Pascal) who now holds the Darksaber after beating Moff Gideon in the Mandalorian Season 2 finale might go to the planet of Mandalore to face off against Bo-Katan Kryze who desperately wants it. Season 3 of the live-action Star Wars, Disney+ and Lucasfilm show might focus more on Mandalorian creed and tradition and less on Grogu (Baby Yoda - The Child) who is now training with Luke Skywalker. We could even see flashbacks to the Great Purge and how the Empire impacted Mandalore. We haven't seen the planet in live-action before but we have seen it in Star Wars Rebels and the Clone Wars! Could Sabine Wren appear? This is a time of waiting for all Star Wars fans as Disney+ prepares to host a whole range of Star Wars shows. This year, we see Temuera Morrison reprise the role of Boba Fett as well as the release of Star Wars The Bad Batch and Star Wars Visions. There has been many rumors and a whole load of news which includes the Gina Carano controversy ever since she was erased by Lucasfilm and their recent artwork that featured Greef Karga, Moff Gideon, Din Djarin and Ahsoka Tano. Kathleen Kennedy announced the exciting future of the Star Wars franchise by announcing a myriad of new shows at Disney Investor Day 2020! What an amazing time to be a Star Wars fan!
