The Canadian Truckers Freedom Convoy is in full swing and is expected to arrive in Ottawa, Canada on Friday the 28th. The Brian Peckford vs Justin Trudeau legal battle should commence shortly thereafter.

At the time of this writing, 50,000 truckers are driving across Canada as part of the Canadian Truckers Freedom Convoy that plans to converge on Parliament Hill to show their opposition to COVID-19 vaccine mandates, which prevent them from crossing the border.

There have been claims that the Ministry of Transportation has turned off highway cameras to prevent people from seeing the Canadian Truckers Freedom Convoy and Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has called the views of these truckers unacceptable.

Brian Peckford is the former Prime Minister of Newfoundland and Labrador and also the only living Minister who participated in drafting and signing Canada's Charter of Rights & Freedoms. His efforts have especially influenced sections 2, 6, 7, and 15 of the charter which are reminiscent of the American Constitution.

We're talking about Freedom of Association, Freedom of Expression, Freedom of Religion, Conscience, Freedom of Assembly, Freedom of Assembly, as well as the Right to Mobility or the right to travel anywhere in Canada or to leave Canada and travel abroad without restriction when coming back home. These sections also cover Equality as all Canadians are equal under the law.

In addition to this, every Canadian has the right to Life, Liberty, and the Security of the Person which is very to the inalienable right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness provided to Americans through the Declaration of Independence.

Mr. Brian Peckford says these provisions are being violated by all the governments of Canada, especially the Federal Government of Canada. He plans to sue the Federal Government and name some big people, presumably Justin Trudeau himself as part of the future lawsuit.

The Canadian Truckers Freedom Convoy is expected to arrive this Friday and begin the protest on Saturday. Coincidently, PM Justin Trudeau stated on Thursday that he was exposed to Covid and although he tested negative using the rapid test, he will self-isolate for five days and work from home.

The question is, do Americans feel that their rights and freedoms are being taken away, violated, or infringed upon? It seems that Canadians feel this to be the case and it's highly doubtful that these truck drivers and their supporters agree with Trudeau's statement of unacceptable views.
