The Garmin Marq Athlete (Gen 2) is Garmin's latest attempt to make a high-end, luxury watch that offers the best of its sports and smartwatch features in a more premium design.

At £1,600/$1,900, the Marq Athlete 2 goes big on price once again and seeks to justify that price by adding in Grade 5 Titanium, a new AMOLED display and giving you pretty much all of the running features you'll find on its Fenix 7 series and Epix watches.

Tester Mike has been living with this pricey Garmin to see if it's better than the first Marq Athlete and whether it's really worth spending the big bucks on.
