Al-Fajr (Daybreak) is the eighty-ninth chapter (sura) of the Quran, with 30 ayat or verses. The sura describes destruction of disbelieving peoples: the Ancient Egyptians, the people of Iram of the Pillars, and Mada'in Saleh.
