My name is Akshyae Singh, from Delhi, India. I recently got admitted to the UCLA class of 2025, and while im so grateful to be a part of UCLA, Theres a long story behind me choosing UCLA as my College!

While I would have never expected my college decisions Reactions Video to end up like this, I'm glad it did. I posted this video for all those 90+% student dreamers who get rejected from their Dream Colleges and Universities every year, not because their abilities are lacking but because of the increasingly ruthless college applications system. I am here to tell all those students who got rejected from their colleges and universities that ITS NOT YOUR FAULT and ITS IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD.

i was rejected from almost all my dream Colleges and Universities. colleges and universities I dreamt of being admitted to since the last 4 years...and it feels horrible. like your entire future professional life has been ruined. like it's the end of the world. AND ITS OKAY TO FEEL ALL OF THAT but it's not okay to let that be a reason to question your own abilities. It is all a numbers game, and it depends on innumerous factors that you cannot even control. There is no College fit, no College is optimum for u until u make it optimum for yourself, you decide your own future. While getting into that ivy league might give some the edge for a few years, it cannot determine a hierarchial representation of a students abilities. the path of YOUR life is different than the path of your friend's who got into that dream college, u will have different hurdles, they will have theirs!

I never planned on UCLA. after my decisions came out, it was the only school I Could attend XD . and that tells me a lot about destiny and life, it won't go according to ur planning, but u can trust that it will always be right :)
to all those rejected- cry for 2 days, think for 2 more, introspect for 2 more, but do not doubt your abilities for a second. it's College. It's not woodoo magic.
