Are your hips out of alignment? Tom Hulst, MSPT shares some tips about your hips!

✨Hip alignment - so what's going on here?✨
Well, due to the interdigitated rough joint surfaces of these sacroiliac joints and super thick ligaments on the back side and front side these joints don't move much at all. So unless you are prenatal postpartum or a young female it's highly unlikely that your pelvis is out of alignment due to a subluxation of that sacroiliac joint. The reason all of these techniques help things line up is because all of them provide afferent input into the central nervous system which then alters the efferent output back to the muscle a fancy way of saying they just help relax the muscles which then allows things to line up.
