Let me give you 3 reasons to plan a ski trip to Utah ASAP!
a. Utah has the “Greatest Snow on Earth”.
b. Park City Mountain is the largest ski resort in the United States.
c. We’re getting record amounts of snowfall this season!

Welcome back to the Nash Potatoes Outdoor Show.

Today, I’m skiing at Canyons Village at Park City in Utah.

This is my 4th time skiing at Canyons Resort and I love it more each time I visit.

This season, we’re getting record amounts of snowfall and today we’ve also got lots of sunshine, which makes my videos SO much better.

BUT, do you know what else makes my videos better? Speed! And today, there was no shortage of that. Towards the end of this video, I actually hit 52 mph…the fastest I’ve ever gone on skis!

Not only that, but I was able to get some pretty good footage of a moose grazing on vegetation as well.

Anyway, this first run is called Alpenglow…let the fun begin!

===

Okay, this next run is a ton of fun. It’s called Mercury and it was recommended to me by an employee a few weeks ago. I’ve also talked to people on the lift who say it’s their favorite as well. So, let’s check it out…

===

This next trail is one of my favorites. It’s called Another World and today I was able to hit 49 mph. As you’ll see, the entire trail has fun elements throughout. I especially love the dips and turns and the fact that you can go fast. Take a look…

===

Now let me show you another fun trail. This one is called Boa. Located on the far side of the map, it goes around the outside, round the outside. It’s actually 2.5 miles long and…I was able to hit 49 mph once again. Check it out…

===

Now, it’s time to turn it up to ELEVEN. I was able to hit 52 mph on this run. The trails are called Painted Horse and Echo and right now…it’s time to Shake N Bake!!

===

Okay, this last run is short & sweet. It’s called Raptor Way and it simply brings me back into the base area. At the end of this run, I wanted to show you two more quick video clips…including that moose I mentioned. So, don’t go anywhere!

===

Finally, I wanted to show you the moose I saw from the lift. Also, I’m always amazed at some of these houses that have like 4 feet of snow on the roof…pretty cool to see.

But, that’s all I’ve got for you today. Thanks for watching the Nash Potatoes Outdoor Show. I’ll be skiing in Utah all season. So, please subscribe to my YouTube channel and keep an eye open for lots more fun downhill skiing videos. We will see you next time…

ABOUT ME:
► I grew up in Kalamazoo, MI and graduated with a Marketing degree from Oakland University.
► I moved to Longmont, CO in November 2016 and fell in love with all the beautiful hiking trails that Colorado has to offer. So, in April 2012, the Nash Potatoes Outdoor Show was born.
► In November 2019, I took a 4-month camping trip in my pop-up camper. This gave me an opportunity to travel, explore, unwind, and create lots of great videos.
► In December 2020, I began recording a series of downhill skiing videos in Colorado. These quickly became popular and my passion for YouTube was re-ignited!
► I actually had so many great memories of my first camping trip that I decided to do another one. So, in April 2021, I converted a 12-foot enclosed trailer into a camper and documented the whole process.
► In June 2021, I reached 1,000 subscribers and was able to monetize my channel.
► By January 2023, I was already at 2,000 subscribers and counting!
► The Nash Potatoes Outdoor Show allows me to share all of my experiences with you. Join me on my adventure as I talk about life, laughter, exploration, and creating content for YouTube...enjoy!
