Game has 2 modes, first is standard Team Death Match where you win by killing all opponents or capturing their base, 2nd mode is King of The Hill (capture the flag). There are 5 flags that need to be captured and they generate points, what ever the team reaches first to 750 - wins or, like in other mode - kill all enemies.
There are 4 types of Mechs and each has a different purpose and can be equipped with different weapons. Within the classes there are different Mechs that have different variations that defy what weapons system can be mounted on them. It's up to the Player how he want's to play the game, but don't Lone Wolf because you will die. It is heavily team based game that rewards it in a right way, something similar to Battlefield series, where spotting makes sense and gives the points for doing so.
*There are Hero Mechs that you can buy only through real life money, apparently some are OP. I haven't experience to much of that though, but like i said, i just came to see how is it, so i can't really say that this is true.
