FIMUCITÉ, the Tenerife International Film Music Festival presents the concert "SPACE OPERA: A Journey to the Stars". A wonderful compilation of the best film music focusing on the "Space Opera" genre.

Space Opera is a subgenre of science fiction adventure stories with a romantic angle and action that usually takes place in space. Beyond its literary roots. the genre has enjoyed fruitful excursions onto both the big and small screens, with sagas and personalities including Star Wars, Flash Gordon and Dune, among others. Film composer and FIMUCITÉ´s director Diego Navarro conducted "The Force Awakens Concert Suite", performed by the Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife.
