UP Assembly Elections 2022 Updates: The voter turn out in the first phase of UP polls till 5 pm was 57.79%. The voting polling started at 7 am and continued till 6 pm in adherence to the Covid-appropriate guidelines issued by the Election Commission. The first phase saw voting in the Jat-dominated western UP region and Doab.
