The Dark Night of the Soul is something practically all people who undergo a spiritual awakening experience.. With this spiritual work, we are working towards becoming a more highly conscious and loving person, and we are striving towards truth. In doing this, we have to shed the aspects of ourself the hold us back from embodying this awakening, and for most people, this requires a massive reassembling of the self. When the new self is being born, the old one is simultaneously dying, and this can be an extremely difficult process to endure. It's like a several month (perhaps even several years) self-surgery that one is entirely awake and conscious for. Most people find themselves face-to-face with meaningless, existential despair, and/or depression. It's tough shit. It may be seem like there is no light at the end of the tunnel, but my intention with this video is to emphasize that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and the fastest way to get there is to not resist the process that you are going through.
