Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has urged member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to exert pressure on Israel and its allies, emphasizing the need to defend international law, human rights, and universal values.

Speaking at the Türkiye-GCC High-Level Strategic Dialogue meeting in Doha, Fidan highlighted the inhumane conditions faced by Palestinian prisoners and called for closer cooperation among GCC members to achieve peace and security in the region, starting with a just solution for the Palestinian people.

He stressed that Western nations have forgotten these values, and it is essential for GCC countries to take a stand.
