After finally hitting the road again when Germany lifted their lockdown, we made a beeline for France, and in particular our favourite flying spot, Annecy! We ended up spending just over a month their, and although we had a few nice flights, we really struggled to get back in the zone of flying and being productive in general, the heat didn't help, but mainly it felt like we had Covid hangovers.

So we ended up bouncing around a bit between Annecy, Saint-Hilaire, La Clusaz, La Grand Bornand and then back and forth, always thinking we would stay in one place for awhile and fly, but never quite getting it right. We made many "decisions" in this time, about working, leaving and staying, driving to Southern France, driving to Italy, driving to Greece, staying in Annecy, and so on. In the end, after about a month and a half in France, we decided to head back over the mountains into Italy and make our way to Greece, where Calina would eventually get some work.

We procrastinated a lot during this time, but as you can see, we still had fun, there are always good and bad times, but when your house can move it is a lot easier to find the good ones, and enjoy the experiences van life throws at you. And we didn't break down which is always nice...
