How to setup Conversion Optimizer in your Google AdWords Campaign?

Know how important is to setup Google AdWords conversion optimizer and steps to follow for better Ad performance

1st Login into your adwords account. Then select the campaign for which you want to set conversion.
To setup conversion optimizer first you need to setup conversions tracking in your webpage.
To get the conversion tracking code click on tools tab from top menu and select Conversions from the drop-down menu.
Under the Conversions tab, click the + Conversion button.
In the "Conversion name" field, enter the name of the conversion you'd like to track on your website. For example you can give name as contact us or thank you page.
In the "Source" field, select where your customers will complete the conversion. For example, if customers will order your cupcakes on your website, you'll select "Webpage." Then click save and continue.
On the next page, in the "Conversion category" field, select the category that best applies to your conversion. For purchases, you can select "Purchase/Sale" option.
In the "Conversion value" field, choose whether each conversion has the same value, a different value, or if you'd prefer not to count a value. If there's no different value than use 1.
In the "Tracking indicator" field, choose whether you want to let your customers know that you're using conversion tracking by putting a Google Sites Stats notification on your page. If you'd like to add a notification, select "Add a 'Google Site Stats' notification to the code generated for my page." If you prefer not to use a notification, select "Don't add a notification to the code generated for my page." Click save and continue.




Select "Someone else makes changes to the code" or "I make changes to the code," depending on which applies to you.
• If you chose "Someone else makes changes to the code," just fill out the email form that pops up and click Send email. The code snippet will be sent you the person who edits your website!
• If you chose "I make changes to the code," a window will open up below with your code snippet. Copy it, and you'll be ready for the next step.
Now to add conversion tracking code 1st open the html page where your customers reach on your website after they have completed a conversions for example thank you page for your order. Then paste that code between the ending of body tag. And save the changes.
To setup conversion optimizer your campaign must have received at least 15 conversions in the last 30 days. Once you have reached 15 conversions you can setup conversion optimizer.

Now to setup conversion optimizer go to settings page in your campaign.
Then go to bid strategy section and click on edit option. Click the Focus on Conversions (Conversion Optimizer) -- use CPA bids option.

Under Advanced Options, select either Max. CPA or Target CPA, and select either Start with recommended bid or select and set a custom bid.
So this way you can setup conversion optimizer in your campaign and you can reach your targeted Goals.
