You Have Enough | Sister Dang Nghiem |
![]() |
Part of a new series of guided practices included in the FREE Plum Village App ➛ https://plumvillage.app The series is kindly offered by mindfulness teacher Sister Dang Nghiem. This audio offers guidance on the Buddhist practice called tri túc in Vietnamese, meaning “know that you have enough.”
Tri is to know, to remember, to master; túc means “enough.” Interestingly, túc also means “feet.” So tri túc means that you know and remember that you have enough and take good care of what you have. Additionally, it means you appreciate that you have feet, the foundation of your body! ➛ The content of this audio draws on Sister Dang Nghiem's latest book, Flowers in the Dark (2021), a deeply thoughtful guide to healing trauma with mindfulness practice. By bringing together her lived experience as a survivor, a certified MD, and an ordained Buddhist teacher, she offers a body-based, practical approach to healing from the most difficult and painful life experiences. ------- Find out more about Flowers in the Dark on the Parallax website ➛ https://www.parallax.org/product/flowers-in-the-dark/ ------- Listen to more short guided meditations on the FREE Plum Village App https://plumvillage.app/ Enjoy! 🙏 Help us caption and translate this video: https://web.plumvillage.app/subs?yt=TsXhLlmS9Js #PlumVillageApp #FlowersInTheDark |
