Is League of Legends Dead in the Philippines?

Hi! I'm Iyz (eyes) and I like playing league with ma friends. It was honestly a lot of fun reading through a lot of history. I mostly just summarized things to paint a simple picture of League PH's state in terms of its player base. Had to make sure it wasn't too hard to understand and it wasn't so serious that there wasn't any humor. *WATCH IT IN 1080P*

Well, what do you think? Is it enough to say that a game's dead just because its eSport scene dissolved? Is it enough to say that it's dead when you have to wait through 20-minute long queue times? Leave your thoughts in the comments down below.

Garena wasn't really a major contributor to the lower player population but I do think that it was worth mentioning because it affected the general experience of the user, which sucked. They also made a lot of mistakes which can't just be disregarded. I was playing in ranked and it really sucked that op.gg was gone especially since a lot of players here in PH are for funners/trolls xD. Op.gg was hands down one of the best things to ever happen back in the day. The ISP problem in PH also affected the cybercafe player base since they couldn't play at all. Scripters and cheaters are prevalent in high elo as well. Encountering Sion scripters and Xeraths with god aim is commonplace. It honestly made me stop playing League for a while. Garena's mistakes might not have reduced the player base to a significant extent, but it did cause a lot of dissatisfaction that affected their perspective and, perhaps to some, their decision to quit the game.
