Chord colors: master your music by learning to make, hear, and use the chords you play |
|
Chords are the background, the landscape upon which music is created and are the most noticed part of music. That goes for any style and explains why jazz, country, and metal all use somewhat different chords. Wouldn't it be nice to know the difference so you don't sound lame in the style of music you love? Wouldn't it be great to know exactly how to make a C9, or Cmaj9 or C5, the difference in sound and why? Wouldn't it be great to create a song, or emulate a song you love, that sounds EXACTLY like what you had in mind. This is the livestream for you. We'll learn the building blocks of the 3 basic chord styles, how to distinguish by ear each, and the chord styles for blues or classical or rock music to make your music come alive.
