http://www.euronews.net/ Two of the stars of Lars von Trier's film Melancholia, Kirsten Dunst and John Hurt, were in London for the UK premier of the much acclaimed movie.

It is an apocalyptic drama written and directed by the controversial Danish filmmaker.

It tells the story of two sisters, played by Kirsten Dunst and Charlotte Gainsbourg, and how they deal with the fact that another planet is about to crash into Earth.

Dunst's performance as a manic depressive earned her the best actress award at Cannes this year and made her a hot tip for an Oscar nomination.
